The Aliscaff range of extruded coupler fittings have over the last few years become rapidly accepted as the Industry Standard within the lighting and Sound World.

Designed to fit 2" (50.8mm) O/D trussing and tube without damaging it, they will also close down onto 1 29/32" (48.4mm) O/D scaffold tube without any reduction in their 500 Kgs Safe Working Load.

The range is continuously expanding to accommodate customer needs and Aliscaff's policy of "the answer is yes, now what is the question", means that specials and one offs are only a telephone call away.

Half Couplers can be machined to suit customers fixing requirements, a common option being drilled and countersunk to accept either an M10, or M12 countersunk headed screw, sometimes referred to as a magic bolt fixing.

Swivel Couplers have a zinc plated turned steel rivet connecting the two half couplers together and are retained with a roll pin. Swivel couplers may be converted to 90o couplers by driving a second roll pin through a pre-drilled hole in the steel rivet locking the couplers in position.

90o Couplers are constructed in the same manner as the swivel couplers, but have a second roll pin through the steel rivet which locks the couplers in position. A 90o coupler may be converted into a swivel coupler by the simple operation of driving out this second roll pin.

Parallel Couplers also have a second roll pin through the steel rivet locking the couplers in their parallel position, again by driving out this second roll pin a parallel couplers can be converted into a swivel coupler.

Finial Couplers have an extruded aluminium plug secured to the Half Coupler with an M10 countersunk headed screw. Plug shanks are available in a range of sizes, and the coupler may be either fixed or free turning on the plug.

Lifting Eye Couplers have grown in popularity since their launch, the answer to many "flying" and hoisting requirements. The lifting eye is secured to the coupler with an M12 screw.

Couplers with Spigots are recent additions to the range, and have been received with much interest. Currently 29mm TV and 19mm Spud spigots are available.

The range will continue to increase, and will only be limited by customers requirements; so if you require a fitting which is not currently listed please ask, the answer is normally yes.
